The Canvas Wrap

Here at King Print we can transform your photos or digital images by printing them onto high quality 400g archival canvas, this is stretched over a handmade wooden frame. The solid pine frame in made from top quality stretcher bars, 19mm deep with curved edges to protect the canvas.

We can work from digital files, negatives, slides or prints. Normally a negative will be better than a print, we can advise once you choose the size of wrap.

Remember that as the image wraps around the frame you need to make sure it is not going to spoil the effect, you won't want your head cut off!

High quality vibrant canvas prints are made using our sevon colour UltraChrome ink set, which provides long-lasting prints. Once printed we protect the canvas with two coats of UV lacquer, this helps protect the canvas from UV light and damage from wear by abrasion. Now the canvas is stretched over the frame and fixed in place. In the corners of the frame we insert wedges, this allows us to stretch the canvas taut. These same wedges can also be tapped if the canvas needs tightening in future years.
