Before the wedding
Lets talk. We
invite you to our studio for a free Engagement sitting, this is just a chance
for you to meet us and let us know your plans so far. We will produce one free
photograph from this sitting. If you have not already done so you can look at
past work and show us any ideas you have. You
choose the finish and style of album, available from the package selection.
If you prefer we can upgrade your album, price depending on album chosen. Now
we have a feel for the day we can start to make plans. We attend the rehearsal
to check the location and familiarise you with possible opportunities.
Your Special Day
This is the time for you to enjoy all your hard work and celebrate with friends and family. We aim to tell the story of the day, capturing those special moments and details. We can start at home with getting ready photographs, moving onto the arrivals at your chosen venue. During the service we hope to capture a few special moments. After the service we can concentrate on photography for a few minutes. We don't want to keep everyone waiting. Now the opportunity to make use of the surrounding and guests to create some happy memories, captured on film. We normally follow on to reception until the wedding breakfast commences. You may wish to book stay through coverage to capture the speaches or first dance. Please discussyour requirments.
After the wedding
We will present a fully completed Bride’s album with your chosen size
of photographs. This is put together by Brian to tell a story of your wedding. Our experience over the years has shown this the best way forward as some couples left to their own devices can take over a year! If you wish to take on this challenge then there is a slight extra charge, and obvious delay in receiving your album. We normally aim to have all work completed 4-6 week after the wedding.
Before the album is finished we will upload a selection of images onto our website for you to view from anywhere in the world. Allow you to share the wedding with family and friends, especially those who you won't see for a while, or those over seas. They can also purchase any of these from the website. Along with your "Wedding Scroll", this shows each image taken at your wedding, all together. This Scroll is yet another example of what makes our service stand out from the rest. We will also frame and mount one 10”x8” photo, along with your press photo. Selected images from your wedding will be placed on our website (with your permission), providing a preview before you receive the album. These images can be password protected.
We select one image, this is printed 10"x8", mounted and framed and ready for collection with the album. With the Gold and Reportage packages only you will also receive a 20"x16" print from our large format Epson printer, just another reason to choose King Print when looking for a wedding photographer.
Questions to help choose the right package.
How many photographs do you require?
This is normally dictated by the size of the wedding, with the Silver
package aimed at smaller weddings with 50 or fewer guests. Our Gold
package provides more coverage. Your personal choice may be to have more photographs.
Main album print size?
Our three sizes of album are either 6”x8”, 10”x8” or
reportage. With the 10”x8” size you can choose to have some pages
with two or more smaller photos, giving you more photographs in the main album.
The reportage albums are even bigger, allowing more photographs per page, so
even more in your album.
Number of Locations?
Our Silver package allows for your chosen venue and reception, while our Gold
package allows you to start from home. Mind you we often stop before the reception
with the bride and groom to take some extra photographs on the beach for example.
Type & Finish of Album?
Each package comes with a choice of album included, you can upgrade your chosen
album from each package.
Reportage Style?
By definition this implies a less formal approach to your wedding photography,
allowing more natural scenes to be captured, this also leads to more photographs
being needed to tell the story, hence the larger albums. Reportage
packages.
